Teaching Philosophy
Students will learn that it is hard to know the truth about anything unless you do your own research and use multiple sources in that research. Even then it is hard to know the truth since often time we rely on accepted, or approvedinformation for our sources. An example of this is that governments decide what schools and teachers will teach our children. Students will learn the importance of using multiple sources, and will use other sources besides just the classroom text, providing them with multiple perspectives on the events of world history so they can make an informed decision about what they believe to be the truth behind historical events.
